Andrea Whiting has been training riders and horses in the Tampa Bay area since 1999. Her students and riders have sucessfully competed in a variety of divisions with wins at the local, state and regional levels.

With 30+ years of riding experience, she has garnered a wealth of experience in saddle seat, hunt seat, equitation and harness. Prior to opening Arbordale Riding Academy, she worked for other local Saddlebred and Morgan training facilities, held various positions on the board of the Tampa Horse Show Association, Inc. from 1991 through 2003 (including several years on the executive board).

She has also held memberships with the US Equestrian Federation, the United Professional Horsemen's Association, the Florida Morgan Horse Association, The American Saddlebred Horse Association, the American Morgan Horse Association .

She is a 1989 graduate of the University of South Florida with a BA in English and minors in Humanities and Anthropology, followed by post-graduate level courses in Education.

Ashleigh Gantt is a long-time student of Andrea Whiting, and is one of Ms. Andrea's several riders to win State Championship titles over the years.

Ashleigh teaches English saddle seat instruction.

Amanda Lyons is Arbordale's Western riding instructor. She has been around horses most of her life and has instructed riding and camp at Miracle Mountain in Pennsylvania.

She is a certified instructor through The Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) and loves to teach and share her passion for horses with others.
