Tessa

Tessa is a 2008 bay mostly saddlebred filly. Her mother, Sophie, was a rescue horse that was adopted from Saddlebred Rescue in Blairstown, NJ. We did not know Sophie was carrying a little bundle of brattiness inside her when we adopted Sophie to be a lesson horse.

Tessa was born premature and undernourished as she was not "expected" and was quite a surprise. Despite her tiny start, she is growing like a weed and at two years of age is almost her mother's height. We do not know what to expect of her as we have no idea who her daddy is, hence the name we will show her under.

Tessa is starting her lessons and is wearing a saddle and bridle. As she matures we will start getting her accustomed to carrying a rider. We think she will eventually become a sport horse, but watching her tear around the fields we think she wants to barrel race.

Tessa is sired by an unknown Amish stallion and is out of our dear Sophie.
